Let’s talk about the world’s largest automaker – General Motors. The giant automaker’s line up of cars include Saturn, Vauxhall, Opel, Holden, Daewoo, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Hummer, Saab and Pontiac. All the vehicles are equipped with high performance car parts, luxury features and interior and exterior accessories.
The huge set up of the company includes over 300,000 workers worldwide and the company’s production in the 2005 rose to approx. 9.17 vehicles. Toyota cars and car parts stand just behind the General Motors to take the 2nd place in the automobile world.
In-spite of the successes and a history of producing large variety of powerful cars, car parts etc. the Company’s journey has not been very smooth and comfortable. The story was different in the year 1908 when the Company began it operation and even till recent years General Motors had never faced such big financial troubles. The recent financial crises faced by General Motors has given rise to suspicions among the investors and the financial markets.
General Motors is certainly in hot waters because of its exposure to the high interest based loans of US$ 1 billion. Though the company’s liquidity stand around approximately 46 billion and it seems easy for the company to bail it self out of this loan.
The company at this stage seems to keep its complete focus on the restructuring plan and might get it self out of the current crises soon.
The car parts and accessories for all General Motors brands of cars are found on internet through online car parts sellers. Check out www.elitespoilers.com and www.partsamerica.com if you need low priced, good quality car parts and accessories.
