Popularity of Scion xB since 2003, when it was first introduced in the market paved ways for development and introduction of a bolder and bigger Scion xB. The 2008 model of the car was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show this year. The characteristics and dimensions of the new Scion xB have been remodeled according to the customer’s feedback and comments received on 2003 model of Scion xB. Some distinctive design features of 2008 Scion xB include the following: a) Overall length of the vehicle has been increased by 12 inches b) Width of the vehicle increased by 3 inches c) Height decreased by over an inch. d) Wheel base increased by 4 inches Modifications in car parts and car accessories have also been introduced. Bigger breaks have been introduced in the new Scion xB. Size of front wheel brake discs is 10.83” and the rear wheel break disk is 10.98”. The other car performance parts and car accessories have been developed to ensure more reliability and on road safety. The car is packed with performance parts like 2.4 liter double cam four cylinder engine, boosting 158 hp. Interior layout of the car has also been remodeled. The car is more spacious now. The 29.1 cubic feet luggage compartment has room to accommodate more cargo. If need be, more room for cargo can be created with the help of the interior car accessories like the collapsible 60/40 split back seats. The front seat can also be fully tilted to create room for excess luggage.
